Wilmington Riverfront South Market Master Plan

South Market Master Plan for the Wilmington Riverfront area was developed by L2Partridge in collaboration with Buccini/Pollin Group (BPG). This phase of a multi-phased development project provides a corporate campus with 1 million SF of office space for an international banking institution, a training/conference center, parking, retail establishments, restaurants, and residential space. The mixed-use development is designed to attract the region to live, work and play in Wilmington. According to the Wilmington Riverfront Development Corporation, BPG has continued to make a significant investment in and around the lower corridor of Wilmington. It has developed apartments, condominiums, townhomes, restaurants, retail projects, and an entertainment venue—World Café Live at the Queen, which opened in April 2011. In total, BPG has invested in more than 25 blighted or underused buildings since launching this revitalization in 2007.
